So here we go: the top 14 inns in the U.S. that travelers voted to the top in the Most Romantic category.
First place for Most Romantic goes to
Gables Inn B&B. What does Gables Inn B&B feature? Luxurious accommodations, an intimate setting and an elegant dining room. It's located in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Reviewing the submissions from inn-goer voters, they penned comments like "David and Judy are wonderful, gracious hosts", "a romantic beautiful home and furnishings" and "perfect for a Mother/Daughter getaway." Yelton Manor B&B & The Manor Guest House, the second place winner for Most Romantic. Located in South Haven, Michigan, Yelton Manor features things like award-winning gardens and upscale art and antiques. Travelers penned comments like "wonderful, charming innkeepers", "incredibly friendly and caring innkeepers" and "gorgeous gardens and beach views." Last but not least, expect a full breakfast, complimentary hors d'oeuvres every evening and goodies all day long.
In third place is
A.G. Thomson House, which is located in Duluth, Minnesota. "Luxurious amenities", "amazing innkeepers" and "an historic mansion with fantastic views of Lake Superior" were comments from fans of this B&B. Special things to point out at A.G. Thomson House include two acres of extraordinary grounds, a grand veranda and award-winning amenities. You'll definitely want to check out the Lake Superior views. In addition, look forward to a multi-course homemade breakfast and complimentary evening wine.
Wine Country Farm takes the fourth prize for Most Romantic. Based in Dayton, Oregon, Wine Country Farm is well known for its magnificent vineyard and mountain views. It has Arabian horses, extensive private gardens and a relaxing hot tub--and with 12 rooms, is a fairly big B&B. Combing through the remarks from people who voted, they submitted thoughts like "the most breath taking views" and "the horseback wine tour is a must." A full country breakfast, home-baked cookies and complimentary wine tasting...that's what you can look forward to there.
Based on inn-goer votes, the Number 5 for Most Romantic is
Lodge at Sedona. You can't talk about this B&B without mentioning the three acres of serene gardens. A large B&B, Lodge at Sedona has calming waterfalls, large private decks and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Inn voters said things like "best in Sedona."
Ozark, Illinois is the location for Irish Inn, the sixth place winner. Irish Inn has highlights such as its stone and log chalet design, pine and bamboo floors and the countryside setting. Fans penned thoughts like "romantic and charming ", "Brian and lynn are warm and delightful hosts" and "lovely touches of luxury." On the topic of food, this inn provides a full Irish breakfast, special breads and Irish tea. Irish Inn is run by Brian & Lynn McCreery.
In seventh place is
Heartstone Inn & Cottages. In Eureka Springs, Arkansas, the summary of this place would not be complete without highlighting the onsite message therapy studio. What is Heartstone known for? Beautifully restored rooms, original hardwood floors and a wrap-around porch. With 11 rooms, it's small for an inn. What did the people who voted say? "Afternoon snacks are fantastic", "a romantic getaway" and "amenities were wonderful."
Number 8 for Most Romantic goes to
Inn at the Park B&B, which you'll find in South Haven, Michigan. You won't want to miss the lakeside and downtown location here. "A delight for the senses", "a romantic getaway" and "gracious attentive hosts" were comments from fans of this inn. Special things you'll notice at Inn at the Park B&B are elegantly appointed guest rooms, whirlpool tubs and an onsite pub.
The winner of ninth place for Most Romantic is
Chestnut Street Inn, which is run by Monika & Jeff Sudakov. Chestnut Street Inn is known for its elegantly appointed guest suites. It's based in Sheffield, Illinois. Reading over the traveler thoughts, inn-goers put down remarks such as "have returned many times because of the Inn's charm and innkeepers hospitality", "best chef, Monica is a culinary wizard" and "quiet luxury." Foodwise, this inn provides a full hot breakfast, locally grown foods and an available four-course gourmet dinner.

Inn voters said things like "the best of everything, spacious, charming, delicious food", "a true retreat" and "attentive and friendly staff." With a well-appointed front porch, an English garden and luxurious robes and towels, Cameron Park Inn B&B is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Inn-goer voters submitted opinions like "a wonderful experience all the way around", "a peaceful and serene environment" and "beautiful décor and attention to detail." Twelfth spot goes to
Rivertown Inn, which can be found in Stillwater, Minnesota. Taking a measure of size, Rivertown Inn is petit--with a count of 9 rooms. Things you'll see at Rivertown Inn include gas fireplaces, sumptuous décor and goose down pillows. Amongst the Most Romantic voters, we found superlatives like "Wonderful staff", "decadent breakfast" and "an amazing B&B experience."

Stone Crest Cellar Bed & Breakfast takes the thirteenth spot for Most Romantic. Located in South Beach, Oregon, you can't talk about this B&B without mentioning the spectacular ocean front location. It's known for log and rustic stone architecture, a 30 foot stone fireplace and private decks--and with 2 rooms, is a small B&B. Amongst the Most Romantic voters, we saw comments like "a beautiful place to stay" and "the owners are so helpful."
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is the location for Grandison Inn at Maney Park, the fourteenth spot winner. Voters passed along comments like "gracious innkeepers" and "fresh baked dessert every night."
